Using broomcorn and a choice of different thread colors, discover this traditional technique to create a sturdy, yet attractive hand broom and pot scrubber. These brooms are made with natural broomcorn, a type of sorghum grass that is known for its durability and flexibility. You will learn with a deep appreciation for the traditional craft of broom making and two beautiful and unique brooms to enjoy for years to come. The process requires some hand strength and we control the thread release from a pole with our feet so be prepared to remove shoes and socks. This event is ideal for adults.
