Volunteer of the Month – March 2016

February 28, 2016 - Irvine Volunteers

Our Volunteer of the Month for March is the always marvelous Moe Brown! Moe has been with Irvine for over 5 years as a Volunteer Naturalist, leading field trips, Nature in the Classroom, and the Eco-Explorers after school program!

Courtney Sagal, Director of Community Engagement, said: “Moe is one of the most dedicated, energetic and charismatic volunteers I have ever met- he truly exemplifies volunteerism!  He always starts each field trip/program with a smile on his face and is eager to share his passion for nature with each student he meets. We are very lucky to have Moe as part of the Irvine community.”

Aside from his work with Irvine, Moe is incredibly involved in the Baltimore community, and volunteers with several other organizations, including with the Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, and Krieger Schechter Day School. He brings his wide range of experiences and knowledge to learners of all ages. Thank you, Moe, and congratulations!
