Summer Science Academy For High School Students at McDaniel College
Open registration has begun for the Summer Science Academy at McDaniel College, a science camp for high school students. The class subjects for these week-long courses include forensic science, robotics, space and rockets, and “real world” advanced laboratory.
All students who successfully complete at least one week of the camp will be guaranteed a $40,000 scholarship to McDaniel College!
The schedule of camp weeks is as follows: Week 1 of the camp will be June 16-21; Week 2, June 23-28; and Week 3, July 7-12.
Students can opt to live on campus or commute daily. The cost for resident campers for the week is $825, which includes lodging and meals. The cost for commuters is $425, which includes lunch. Laboratory supplies, field trips, and instructional expenses are fully included in the above costs.
