At Sinclair Lane, Eco-Explorers delve into the topic of renewable energy! Discussing the differences between renewable and non-renewable energy sources, students learn how these resources can be used, their efficiency, and environmental footprint. During a wind experiment, students learned about wind energy, how to harness it, and practiced their own wind power. Students learned about Geo-Thermal energy and made a fun craft to learn about the layers of the earth. In addition, students got to see the Grey Rat Snake and the North American Millipede and learn about their unique adaptations.
Students at Sinclair continue to learn and grow throughout this topic into the next generation of environmental stewards!
