WORLD SNAKE DAY 2026

Join Irvine Naturalist & Manager of School Programs, Brittany Roger, as she leads visitors on a day of learning and exploration. World Snake Day at Irvine includes three distinct programs throughout the day. Sign up for one or more. Or make a day out of it! Purchase a Day Pass for $30 and attend all three programs. Plus, pack a picnic and explore the rest of Irvine Nature Center in between.
Morning Program: HERP HIKE (three levels, three departure times) $10/participant
- 6am Herp Hike with Brittany through property. Most intense
- 7am Herp Hike through wetlands. Moderate
- 8am Herp Hike. Stroll through the Understory, Woodland Garden, and Headwater. Gentle
Afternoon Program: Snakes Around the World Presentation $15/participant
- 12pm Animal Presentation, including meeting snakes from around the world. Plus, a demonstration for setting up your first pet Corn Snake. All ages welcome
Evening Program: Animal Art $25/participant
- 4pm Paint a flowerpot with live animals modeling around the room. Ideal for ages 7+
