LGBT+ Outdoors- OWL PROWL

Irvine Nature Center is thrilled to be the Maryland Chapter for LGBT+ Outdoors. The Organization’s goal is: Connecting the LGBTQ+ community to the outdoors and its members to one another is at the heart of what we do. It is our mission to strengthen connections between those in our community all while fostering a love for the outdoors.
Our local mix of woods, meadows, and wetlands makes ideal habitat for several species of owls, and clear winter nights are the perfect time to listen for them. Join us for an evening of learning about these awesome creatures of the night. We’ll learn about their natural history and calls, then hit trails for a chance to hear them in the wild. It promises to be a HOOT! Dress warmly (layers recommended), wear suitable shoes, and bring a small flashlight. This program is intended for adults.
