Did you know there are Wild Turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) in every county of Maryland? Despite their prevalence, most people don’t know much about this big, beautiful bird.  Join Naturalist Paige to learn more about North America’s biggest game bird. We will closely observe turkey feathers and learn how to spot the clues these feathered friends leave behind to alert us of their whereabouts. This is will be fun filled time of talking turkeys with crafts and games!  This is a great program for children ages 7 and up (accompanying adult can drop off or stay).
