Foraging: Know Your Nuts

$15Explore the nut trees: oaks, hickories and walnut as we learn the keys to identification by leaf, nut and bark. Do you know your white from red oaks – at Irvine we have 8 different species? If you want to know the best type of acorns for foraging (and wildlife) this is the hike for you! Discover which nuts are worth collecting to eat and methods to process, store and open.
