The potential benefits of awe for your mind, body, and social connections make it an emotion worth cultivating. But you don’t have to take a trip to Mount Everest to reap its benefits. One of the most common sources of awe is found in nature. Awe is also found in the everyday like watching the leaves of a tree change from green to yellow. Join us for an hour of awe as we mindfully walk through the trails at Irvine Nature Center. We will speak about what awe is, why we need to practice it and how to cultivate it on a daily basis. The class will conclude with seated reflection and sharing in community. This program is intended for adults and children age 14+.
