VOLUNTEER COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING APPLICATION

CITs must be 13-16 years of age and need to complete the following application and an interview before being selected. Selected CITs will be asked to serve a minimum two-week commitment. All CITs must attend training on either June 15th or July 13th.

Statement of Understanding: I understand that by serving as a CIT with Irvine Nature Center I am accepting an unpaid position and will not receive financial compensation during my placement. I understand that I am responsible for communicating any requirements necessary to receive service hours for my placement and will do so in a timely manner. I also understand that I am not covered for medical benefits under workers’ compensation insurance.
