Forest Medicine – Shinrin Yoku

Sunday March 18, 2018 | 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

New to Irvine! Shinrin-yoku is a term that means “taking in the forest atmosphere” or “forest bathing.” It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a popular method of stress relief and healing in Japanese medicine. Studies have shown shinrin-yoku can improve your mood and relieve stress.

An Irvine naturalist will guide you through a leisurely walk under our forest canopy, where you will learn and practice techniques for meditation and mindfulness.

Due to the quiet nature of this class, adults only, please.
