Volunteer of the Month- April 2017!

March 31, 2017 - Irvine Volunteers

April’s Volunteer(s) of the Month are the wonderful CCBC Owings Mills Post-Secondary Functional Academic Learning Support Program also known as Vince’s Crew!

Vince’s Crew are wonderful volunteers who perform a variety of tasks at Irvine behind the scenes to keep Irvine a beautiful place for thousands of visitors each year. During the week, Vince’s Crew help keep Irvine’s exhibit hall clean, they fill the bird feeders so all can observe songbirds and they pick up trash on Irvine’s property so visitors and students alike can walk safely outdoors.

Irvine’s Director of Operations, Courtney Sagal said, “Vince’s Crew is one of the most amazing groups of volunteers I have had the pleasure of working with at Irvine. The students understand that watch day will bring different responsibilities, from cleaning the exhibit hall to setting up chairs for an upcoming wedding rental, and they are always willing to try something new. And a very special thanks to Vince Johnson- You continuously show the true spirit of volunteerism through your hard work and commitment!”

Vince’s Crew always has a smile on their face and are ready to take on ask task Irvine needs done.

Congratulations Vince’s Crew! Thank you for your dedication and love of Irvine!
