Nature in the Classroom

Let Irvine Nature Center come to you!

Irvine’s Nature in the Classroom program is especially useful for schools that cannot visit Irvine for field trips. The programs take place at your school and are scheduled most often during December and January (scheduling is limited in spring and fall). They feature an Irvine Naturalist leading one of eight entertaining, informative and hands-on programs covering the following topics:

  • All About Animals
  • Animal Super Heroes
  • Taking Care of the Earth
  • Survival of the Fittest
  • Chesapeake Connections
  • Maryland’s Native Americans
  • Earth Rocks!
  • Hunters of the Sky

To register contact Kimberly Godack at 443-738-9220. Please use this registration form located on page 9 of the School Program Brochure.
