IRVINE'S PUMPKINFEST MARKS THE BEGINNING OF FALL

STEVENSON, MD – Irvine Nature Center will hold its annual PumpkinFest on Saturday, October 8 from 10 am - 4pm.   Admission is $10.00 per car for this one-day-only event.  Many Baltimore area residents make this festival a family tradition to celebrate the Fall season, stuff their scarecrows for Halloween, decorate pumpkins, and create many childhood memories.  Kids enjoy experiencing the storytelling and puppet shows, meeting the live animals, and creating their own crafts.  The whole family can take pleasure in a day outside with folk music and fun activities led by Irvine’s talented staff of naturalists.

Irvine’s beautiful campus is the perfect setting for a picnic and PumpkinFest features great food, including peanut butter & jelly “kid’s meals”.  A variety of homemade baked goods provide a generous array of desserts.  Members and Non-members alike are invited.
