 
Each year Irvine hosts four regular special events:
Project Clean Stream, a regional watershed cleanup
Bird-A-Thon, a fundraiser for the birding enthusiast
Native Plant Seminar & Sale, a day-long education in the benefits of native plants
PumpkinFest, a low-tech family fun-day.
As well, Irvine hosts and participates in a number of one-time special events.
