In an effort to leverage our resources and reach ever more students, in 1989 Irvine offered our first Teacher Workshop. Today, Irvine offers five different workshops for pre- and elementary school teachers to help integrate environmental education and outdoor learning into the curriculum.
Training topics include:
- Exploring Animals
- Project WET (wetlands)
- Project WILD (wildlife)
- Project Learning Tree (trees and forests)
- Sharing Nature with Pre-Schoolers
