This fall (2007) Irvine Nature Center will host its sixth Habitat Stewards^TM program, a highly acclaimed training series created by the National Wildlife Federation®. Individuals who complete this program will become "certified" Habitat Stewards^TM and will be equipped with the knowledge to help residents in their communities transform their backyards into wildlife habitat.
