Bird-A-Thon!

Participate in the 21st annual Bird-A-Thon from April 26 through May 13, 2013. It's like a scavenger hunt with binoculars! Or a walk-a-thon with birds!

Bird-A-Thon is a competitive and educational event for any level of birdwatcher where participants collect pledges for finding and counting bird species. Join an organized trip, start one yourself or count independently. We can pair you up with birding experts; This is a great way to make new friends and connect with other bird lovers.

Gather a few friends and pledges, then head for the wild outdoors for a great day of birding. With your help, Irvine receives a pledge for each bird species your team spots. It's easy, relaxing and a terrific way to use your bird watching skills.
